Job Description

Carden Christian Academy is seeking a Part-Time Music Instructor to guide students in developing foundational music skills, vocal technique, rhythm, and performance ability through weekly instruction. This role fosters musical growth, confidence, creativity, and appreciation for the arts within a structured, faith-based learning environment.

Minimum Requirements

Experience in music education, performance, or related field

Ability to work with elementary and/or middle school students

Minimum of 12 credit hours in music or related specialty area

Availability for 1 weekly instructional session

Responsibilities

Lead weekly music classes and/or rehearsals

Teach foundational music concepts including rhythm, pitch, and performance skills

Provide vocal and/or instrumental instruction

Prepare students for school events, programs, and presentations

Foster creativity and confidence within a structured, faith-based environment

Compensation: $20 – $25 per hour
