    A warm, welcoming, and highly respectful private family is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to join their established household team at their primary residence in Manhattan’s West Village, with occasional support provided at their Hamptons property as needed. This is a unique opportunity for a polished, service-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining beautiful homes while providing thoughtful support that contributes to the seamless operation of the household.

    The ideal candidate possesses a hospitality mindset and understands the nuances of working within a private residence. They are discreet, organized, adaptable, and naturally intuitive, with the ability to anticipate needs, read the room, and seamlessly blend into the household environment. Experience within private households, luxury hospitality, estate environments, or other settings where discretion, attention to detail, and exceptional service are paramount is highly valued

    The successful candidate will work alongside a long-tenured Housekeeper and report directly to the Estate Manager. This is a collaborative household environment built on mutual respect, trust, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, service-oriented, and intuitive, with a natural ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and contribute to the seamless operation of the household.

    The schedule is generally Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from approximately 11:00am to 3:00pm, with flexibility for occasional additional hours, seasonal support, and periodic assistance at the family's Hamptons residence. While the role is primarily based in New York City, candidates should be comfortable traveling locally to support the Hamptons property as needed throughout the year.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Perform daily housekeeping and detailed cleaning to exceptionally high standards
    • Maintain the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the residence
    • Clean and care for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, and common areas
    • Provide expert laundry care, including washing, folding, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe maintenance
    • Care for fine furnishings, finishes, artwork, and household belongings
    • Organize closets, storage areas, pantries, and household systems
    • Handle dishes, kitchen upkeep, and general household maintenance as needed
    • Monitor household inventories and assist with procurement and stocking of supplies
    • Coordinate with and follow up on household vendors, service providers, and deliveries
    • Assist with household projects, organization initiatives, and seasonal household needs
    • Support the operation of the Hamptons residence as needed, including vendor coordination and property readiness
    • Work collaboratively with the Estate Manager and existing household staff to ensure seamless household operations
    • Anticipate household needs and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization
    • Additional housekeeping and household support responsibilities as needed and requested

    Requirements:

    • Excellent references from both current and former employers
    • Prior experience working in private service, luxury hospitality, yachting, estates, or other high-end residential environments preferred
    • Strong housekeeping, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, and household organization skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
    • Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative and team-oriented
    • Professional, polished, and service-minded demeanor
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
    • Ability to anticipate needs, read the room, and exercise sound judgment
    • Warm, easygoing personality with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
    • High level of discretion, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality
    • Comfortable working in an active family environment
    • Valid Driver's License preferred
    • Comfortable traveling locally to support the family's Hamptons residence as needed
    • Legally authorized to work within the United States

    Compensation: $40–$45 Hourly + Benefits
