Part Nanny Position – Somerville, MA $33 -$35 per hour

A family in Somerville, MA, is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their two children, ages 2 years and 8 months. This is a long-term position as both parents are returning to work. The ideal candidate should be patient, proactive, and attentive.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM- 9AM-4PM Tuesdays
• Total Hours: 34 hours per week (plus additional weekend hours in summer)
• Summer Schedule: Same weekdays, plus 5-6 extra hours on weekends every two weeks (paid overtime)- Date Night
• Schedule In Advance

• Start Date: ASAP

Compensation:

• $33-$35 per hour
• Paid overtime for additional weekend hours

Responsibilities:

• Engage the children with age-appropriate activities
• Focus primarily on childcare, with some light housekeeping & kids’ laundry
• Prepare kids’ meals

• No driving required

Qualifications:

• Must have U.S. work authorization
• Must provide 3-5 professional references
• Comfortable working in a home with two cats (they can be kept in a separate space)
• 2-4+ years as a nanny in a private home
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers
