Part-Time Nanny Needed for Infant (4 Months)

Location: Austin, TX 78744 Start Date: ASAP (no later than 03/02/2026) Contract Length: 6 months, with possibility to extend Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: $25/hour Benefits: Paid PTO & sick time Household: Both parents work from home

About the Position A family is seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced part-time nanny to provide attentive care for their 4-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate is confident with infant care, understands developmental milestones, and enjoys creating a calm, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities Follow an age-appropriate eat–play–sleep routine Provide a calm, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment throughout the day Prepare, warm, and feed 3–4 bottles of expressed breast milk daily (post-nap feedings) Communicate any feeding concerns or changes to parents Engage baby in age-appropriate play during each wake window Provide tummy time during every wake window Read, sing, talk, and interact with baby Monitor sleep cues and adjust timing as needed Place baby down safely for naps following all safe sleep guidelines Take one daily walk (weather permitting) for fresh air and sensory stimulation Wash, dry, and fold baby's laundry as needed Clean and sanitize bottles, pump parts, pacifiers, and toys Keep play and feeding areas tidy and organized

Communication & Tracking Log sleep, feedings, and naps in an app the family uses Provide daily updates to parents regarding mood, sleep, feedings, and any notable changes Communicate promptly about any concerns or questions

Ideal Candidate Has prior experience caring for infants Knowledgeable about infant development, routines, and safe sleep practices Reliable, punctual, and communicative Comfortable working in a home where parents work remotely CPR/First Aid certified Must have TDAP and Flu vaccines
