In this role, you'll engage in hands-on play, facilitate early learning activities, and create imaginative experiences that help children feel safe, confident, and supported. This part-time position averages 15–20 hours a week, with flexible schedules starting as early as 2 p.m. or as late as 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. No weekend work is required, but more hours may be available for those interested. You'll focus on providing attentive, nurturing care that supports toddler or infant development, daily routines, and learning through play. Responsibilities: • • Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. • Engage children in creative and educational activities that promote learning and development. • Assist with homework and school projects, offering guidance and support to foster academic growth. • Prepare and serve healthy snacks and meals, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and daily activities. • Organize and participate in outdoor play and recreational activities to encourage physical fitness and social interaction. • Implement daily routines that support children's emotional and social development, fostering a positive environment at home. Qualifications: Experience in child care, particularly with toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being. Own Vehicle to commute to and from work. Clean Driving record and background check. Able to provide at least 2 child care references to demonstrate a record of maintaining a nurturing and supportive environment for young children. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents and align on care strategies. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks related to child care, keeping play areas tidy and organized. Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly
