Part-Time Nanny - Split Shift - 25 Hours /week guaranteed
Location: Short Hills, NJ 07078
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM, 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Children
- Two children, ages 11 and 8
- No special needs; daughter has a cashew nut allergy
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$30 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview
A busy family is seeking a reliable and engaging part-time nanny to support their two school-aged children. The ideal candidate will be responsible, dependable, and a positive role model, helping the children start their mornings smoothly, transporting them to and from school and activities, and providing after-school care in a structured, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Morning support: guide children through their morning routine (7–8 AM), ensure they eat breakfast (prepared by parents), and safely transport them to school
- Afternoon/evening care: school pick-up at 3 PM, supervise homework, and drive to extracurricular activities (tennis, baseball, dance)
- Provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for the children after school
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding children’s schedules and activities
- Ensure allergy awareness and safe practices (cashew allergy)
- Light household support related to the children (e.g., tidying up after meals/snacks, organizing activity items)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of childcare experience (nannying or related)
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and own reliable vehicle (parking available at the home)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID vaccination preferred
- Ability to start immediately
