Applicants must have 3 years of professional childcare experience, must be able to pass a background check, and must have reliable transportation to be considered. We are currently hiring for a few families in the Odessa, Lutz, and Tampa areas. Schedules will vary but typically range between 20 and 30 hours per week. These positions are ideal for experienced, reliable nannies who are confident caring for infants and young children and who enjoy supporting families as they establish routines and long-term care relationships. Position Overview Families are seeking hands-on, nurturing nannies to provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants and young children in a home setting. Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills are essential for these roles, as families value consistency, reliability, and open communication. The ideal nanny will have strong experience with newborns and young children and be knowledgeable about early developmental milestones, routines, and age-appropriate engagement. These are long-term positions, and families are looking for a nanny who can offer stability and commitment through key early childhood stages. Responsibilities: • Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants and young children • Supporting early milestones such as tummy time, sensory play, reading, and structured activities • Maintaining feeding and nap routines based on each child's cues and schedule • Preparing bottles, sanitizing feeding equipment, and assisting with transitions such as solids when age-appropriate • Keeping children upright after feedings when needed and monitoring overall well-being • Engaging children without screen time through crafts, reading, outdoor walks, and creative play • Children's laundry, tidying play areas and nurseries, and keeping child-related spaces organized • Light household support related to the children (e.g., kitchen cleanup after meals, dishwasher unloading when applicable) • Occasional local errands related to the children or family needs • Communicating clearly with parents regarding routines, activities, and any health-related concerns • Ideal Candidate: • Has hands-on experience with infants and young children • Is energetic, dependable, and proactive in planning activities • Comfortable working in homes where parents may be present • Health-conscious and attentive to children's symptoms or behavioral changes • Comfortable around dogs (no pet care beyond letting a dog out occasionally) • Willing to commit long-term Qualifications: Agency Requirements: • 3 years of professional childcare experience • 3 or more excellent, verifiable references (these cannot be from family and or friends) • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start date) • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check • Non-Smoker Compensation: $19 - $22 hourly
