Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Sherwood Forest in finding a Part-Time Nanny for their 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Friday, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm, with the flexibility to alternate a weekday for a weekend day every other week.

The best nanny for this family would be detail-oriented, proactive, playful, creative, and engaging with children. The ideal candidate will enjoy outdoor activities like backyard play and walks, as well as crafting and other hands-on fun. Light household support is appreciated, along with having meals prepared for the children before they return from school. The nanny will spend about an hour playing with the children in the afternoon and assist with bath and bedtime routines. Both parents work from home a few days each week, and the family is typically home by 4:45 PM. They are looking for a warm, dependable nanny interested in a long-term position with their family.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children(Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Family’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Picking up after the nanny and the children throughout the day

• Rotate children’s closets as they grow

• Keeping children’s rooms clean and organized

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: The family has a well-behaved black lab that is service dog trained. The nanny will be asked to let her out into the fenced-in backyard.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on vaccinations, including the annual Flu Vaccine and TDAP prior to starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:
