Candlewood Suites St. Charles is looking for a dependable, professional, and guest-focused Part-Time Night Auditor to join our team. This position is scheduled for two overnight shifts per week. The Night Auditor independently manages overnight hotel operations, including front desk service, guest assistance, completion of the nightly audit and financial reporting, and ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of guests throughout the shift. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required based on business needs. Training Requirement: All new hires must be available to complete five (5) consecutive days of paid training and must be able to train on all three shifts (day, evening, and overnight). This comprehensive cross-training is required to ensure a complete understanding of hotel operations, shift responsibilities, and the communication necessary for a successful transition into the Night Auditor role. Applicants must have open availability during the training period before moving into the regular part-time overnight schedule. Responsibilities: • Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures • Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally • Perform nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily transactions • Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts • Prepare and distribute daily reports • Answer phone calls and make reservations as needed • Conduct routine property walks to ensure guest safety and security • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area • Communicate important information to management and incoming staff • Assist with laundry Qualifications: • Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred • Strong computer and data entry skills • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Reliable attendance and punctuality required • Must be able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Compensation: $17 hourly
