Responsibilities: Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide the correct keys and room numbersTake incoming calls, online and in-person room booking requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requestsConnect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are readyBookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account informationHandle customer complaints as necessaryVerify, audit, and reconcile all financial records, such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentagesComplete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requestedPrepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the general manager, department heads, and hotel managementEnsure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the propertyExecute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed Qualifications: Must be Available on Weekends Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems Must have graduated from high school, received a GED, or equivalent 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required Proficiency with computers is required; experience with reservation and accounting software is desired Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours Compensation: $14.50 - $15.75 hourly

    • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide the correct keys and room numbers • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room booking requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information • Handle customer complaints as necessary • Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records, such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentages • Complete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requested • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the general manager, department heads, and hotel management • Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property • Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
