PSyn, Inc., a pharmacist-led managed care consulting firm, is expanding our operations and we’re looking for a LPN to join our high-performing remote team.

Position Overview

PSyn is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as an independent contractor (1099) for approximately 30 hours per week. This role supports member engagement, preventive health initiatives, and clinical intervention services through member health planning events and structured outreach activities.

💼 Duties include but are not limited to:

Event-Based Clinical Services

The Contractor will provide clinical services at scheduled member health planning days and service events, including:

Blood pressure screenings

Osteoporosis screenings

Diabetic retinopathy screenings

Hemoglobin (HGB) testing

Hemoglobin A1C testing

Clinical counseling based on screening results

HGB and A1C coaching for diabetic members

Clinical intervention services addressing:

Diabetes

Hypertension

Cardiovascular disease

STAR-related quality measures

Clinical Intervention & Member Outreach

On non-event days, the Contractor will:

Conduct outreach calls to members from a provided list

Deliver education, coaching, and follow-up interventions

Support improvement of chronic disease outcomes and STAR-related measures

Exercise independent clinical judgment in identifying members requiring additional follow-up

*The Company will supply necessary equipment and laboratory testing materials required for event-based services & member outreach.

🩺 Applicant must have:

Active and unrestricted LPN license

Experience in chronic disease management preferred

Experience with point-of-care testing (HGB, A1C preferred)

Strong clinical assessment and counseling skills

Proficiency or willingness to utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR)

Ability to work independently and manage assigned service hours (10am-4pm)

📝 Applicant will be 1099 Independent Contractor:

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor engagement.

The Contractor is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, licensure maintenance, and professional liability coverage.

The Contractor may provide services to other clients, provided such services do not create a conflict of interest.

No employee benefits, workers’ compensation coverage, or unemployment benefits are provided under this arrangement.

The Contractor maintains professional autonomy in the performance of services, consistent with clinical standards and agreed service deliverables.

💲 Compensation

$35–$38 per hour, based on experience

Payment terms to be defined in the Agreement

Estimated engagement of approximately 30 hours per week (not guaranteed; subject to service needs)
