The Estate Plan is growing, and we are seeking a Part-Time Paralegal & Billing Assistant to join our team. This is a hybrid role that combines paralegal support with billing administration. You will work closely with attorneys to support legal matters while also assisting with billing, trust account tracking, and client financial communications. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment, while still collaborating with a professional legal team. Compensation- $32 per hour, 20 hours per week, Part-time, remote position. Responsibilities: Paralegal Support • Assist attorneys with legal and administrative tasks • Draft, review, and organize legal documents and correspondence • Maintain and update case information in firm systems • Communicate professionally with clients regarding case-related matters • Track deadlines, calendars, and internal follow-ups Billing & Financial Support • Assist with billing, invoicing, and trust account tracking • Process payments and support trust replenishment requests • Monitor account balances and flag billing-related issues • Maintain accurate billing notes and records • Manage spreadsheets, data entry, and document organization • Draft professional emails and internal communications • Provide general administrative support as needed Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • Prior legal experience required (paralegal, legal assistant, or similar role) • Experience with billing, invoicing, or financial administration in a law firm or professional services environment preferred • Familiarity with legal software (such as Clio, Filevine, Lawmatics, or similar platforms) is preferred but not required • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting • Professional, reliable, and comfortable handling confidential information Compensation: $32 hourly
