    SAGE Business Counsel is on the lookout for a Superstar Paralegal who’s equal parts detail-junkie and deadline-keeper and also fun to be around. This is a part-time in-office position for a highly organized and motivated paralegal. If you enjoy working with a team that values strategy and service, we’d love to meet you. Who You Are: • A seasoned paralegal with at least 2-4 years of experience, preferably in business law or civil litigation • Proficient in document drafting and working in a team-based structure • Thrives in collaborating with clients and the team • Organized to a fault and love systems (bonus points if you’ve helped build a few) • Communicates clearly with clients, lawyers, and support teams alike Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: • Draft legal documents, including, for example, business contracts and litigation filings, using SAGE templates. • Manage deadlines and case progress under the direction of the Case Manager. • Conduct client interviews, organize data, and support discovery efforts. • Contribute to internal process improvements. • Help keep attorneys focused by keeping files organized and clients informed. • Maintain 18 billable hours per week. Must-Haves: • ABA-approved paralegal certificate, 4-year degree, or equivalent work experience. • Solid grasp of business documents and/or civil procedure. • High technical ability in cloud-based systems. • Comfortable in a team with a clear reporting structure. Compensation: $28 - $32 hourly
