Ivybrook Academy in Franklin, TN is looking for a passionate and nurturing Part Time Preschool Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool-aged children

Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment

Support early childhood development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and daily activities

Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support curriculum goals and school culture

Observe, document, and assess student development and learning milestones

Requirements:

Experience working with preschool or early childhood age groups preferred

Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus

Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices

Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with families and team members

Ability to pass a background check as required by state childcare regulations

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
