Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Schedule: 2–3 Days per Week (Onsite Only)

Compensation: $72–$78 per hour

Location: Hyattsville, Maryland (Integrated Outpatient Clinic – Maryland–DC Metro Area)

Experience Level: Experienced Nurse Practitioner (3+ Years)

Position Overview

This is a part-time, onsite 1099 contractor position, working 2–3 consistent weekdays per week in our Hyattsville clinic. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Core Responsibilities

Provide wellness visits, chronic disease management, and health assessments via secure telehealth platform

Order labs, prescribe medications, and provide patient education remotely

Review patient records, update care plans, and coordinate virtual follow-up

Accurately document all visits in AthenaOne EMR, ensuring compliance with billing and medical necessity standards

Collaborate with our in-house primary care, behavioral health, and nutrition teams for integrated patient care

Participate in provider team meetings, patient outreach, and care planning

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Nursing and current Nurse Practitioner license (FNP or ANP) in Maryland

Active DEA and CDS license

ANCC or AANP certification

Minimum 3 year experience in outpatient primary care or internal medicine

Comfortable with telehealth platforms.

Proficiency with EMRs (eg. Epic, AthenaOne preferred)

Excellent communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skillS

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with high-risk, underserved, or medically complex populations

Familiarity with Maryland’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (CRISP)

Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT coding, and evidence-based care documentation
