Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their team at 1 one of their properties in New Ulm. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in property management, have knowledge and experience with affordable housing within the Section. This role is contracted to hire (90 days before conversion).

Pay: $24/hour

Schedule: Part-time Monday - Friday, 30 hours per week, in addition to possible evenings and weekends depending upon occupancy and move-ins and move-outs

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Manage all aspects of assigned properties
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
• Processing Section 8 certifications
• Negotiate leases/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
• Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants
• Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
• Overseeproperties’ personnel and assess their performance
• Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance

Skills

• Proven work experience as a property manager
• Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
• In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
• Competency in MS Office and Yardi
• Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Well organized with excellent time management skills
