General Job Description
Equity Smart is looking for a professional and enterprising Part-Time Recruiter to attract, interview, and hire new loan officers to join our company. The Recruiter will work to meet Equity Smart’s growth and acquisition targets, collaborating with management on a regular basis to proactively implement Equity Smart’s growth strategy. Ultimately, this role’s responsibility is to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best loan officers in our industry, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Compensation : $20.00 - $26.00 hourly
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Represent the organization well by providing exceptional service and effective communication skills, both in writing and orally, to both internal and external customers and organizations
Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using Develop and deploy candidate sourcing practices including targeted resume search, job postings, referrals, and direct sourcing where necessary (headhunting)
Screen and evaluate applicants based on defined criteria as well as overall ability to fit and thrive within the organization computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, and referrals
Capture and store all relevant candidate information in applicant tracking system
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitudes to determine if they are a fit for Equity Smart
Work closely with the onboarding team to onboard new loan officers smoothly, ensuring they are fully integrated into Equity Smart’s virtual environment
Build effective and communicative relationships with candidates to enhance customer service levels and produce a high offer closure rate
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned, as needed
Desired Skills and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field (e.g. Business Management, Communications, Human Resources) or an appropriate subject area is preferred
At least 1 or more years of experience as a recruiter
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Thorough understanding of end-to-end recruitment life cycle processes
Understanding of HR practices/principles and applicable Federal and State legal regulations as they relate to the sourcing and recruitment process, especially equal employment opportunity (EEO), affirmative action (AA) guidelines, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
