Floss Lincoln Park is a modern, growing boutique dental practice seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our supportive and patient-focused team. We are single doctor owned, not corporate dentistry.

We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about quality care, patient education, and being an active part of treatment conversations.

This position averages 20–25 hours per week.

The days are flexible and planned collaboratively month-to-month based on office needs; however, candidates must be available to work full scheduled office hours, including evening shifts until 7 PM when scheduled.

Friday availability is strongly preferred.

Typical office hours:

Monday: 10 AM – 7 PM

Tuesday: 10 AM – 7 PM

Wednesday: 7 AM – 3 PM

Thursday: 10 AM – 7 PM

Friday: 7 AM – 2 PM

About the Role

We use an assisted hygiene model, with trained assistants supporting patient flow and coronal polishing to help create an efficient and high-quality patient experience.

Our hygienists play an active role in patient education and co-diagnosis using:

digital x-rays

intraoral photography

iTero scans

CBCT / advanced imaging

We are looking for someone who is proactive in identifying concerns, educating patients, and partnering closely with the doctor.

Responsibilities

Prophy, perio maintenance, SRP, gingival scaling, fluoride

Digital x-rays and iTero scans

Intraoral photos

Periodontal evaluation

Patient education

Accurate charting and documentation

Co-diagnosis with doctor

Qualifications

Current Illinois RDH license

1+ year preferred

Strong communication skills

Team-oriented and proactive

Comfortable with modern dental technology
