    Technical Recruiter (Part-Time, Remote – Contract)

    Talent Mission , a local contract recruiting firm, is seeking a part-time Technical Recruiter to support ongoing hiring needs for a variety of mid-to-senior level technology roles. This is a fully remote, contract-based position ideal for a self-driven recruiter with strong sourcing capabilities and a passion for technology.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Source and identify high-quality Information Technology candidates for mid-to-senior level technical roles.

    • Leverage tools including search engines, job boards, open-source communities, LinkedIn Recruiter, and social platforms to engage and qualify passive talent.

    • Conduct candidate interviews to assess work history, technical skills, experience, compensation details, and overall fit.

    Essential Experience & Qualifications

    • Proven success sourcing and engaging passive technical candidates.

    • Strong ability to quickly assess resumes and identify high-potential talent.

    • Passion for technology and familiarity with relevant skills, roles, companies, and technical communities.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; resourceful, proactive, and self-motivated.

    • Advanced research and sourcing capabilities with a focus on quality over quantity.

    • Strong sense of urgency, client focus, and the ability to prioritize effectively.

    • Experience sourcing candidates for security-cleared positions is highly preferred.

    • Internet-savvy with hands-on experience using social media and digital sourcing tools.

    Required Skills

    • Minimum of 2 years of professional recruiting experience, preferably in Information Technology.

    • Experience working with applicant tracking systems

    • Extensive experience using Indeed, Clearancejobs and Linkedin Recruiter

    • Comfortable cold-calling and pitching opportunities to candidates.

    • Demonstrated experience recruiting across a broad range of IT roles, including Developers/Engineers, Technical Program Managers, Solutions Architects, and Database Administrators.
