    About Us

THE SKATESIDE is Southern California’s premier youth skateboarding and roller skating program. Our mission is simple: “MORE KIDS SKATING.”

We teach over 1,000 kids each year across multiple cities, helping them build confidence, resilience, and community through skating. We partner with schools, municipalities, and local brands to make skating accessible, safe, and fun.

    About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Part-Time Sales Representative to help grow our programs and events by reaching out to schools, recreation departments, local businesses, and parents. This is a great fit for someone who is energetic, organized, and passionate about connecting kids and families with enriching activities.

This is a hybrid role (some remote work + local outreach) with flexible hours — perfect for someone who wants to work 15–20 hours per week while making a real impact in their community.

    Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and contact schools, parent groups, and local organizations to introduce them to THE SKATESIDE’s programs.

Relationship Building: Build partnerships with PTAs, after-school directors, and city recreation departments.

Program Sales: Promote skateboarding and roller skating camps, after-school programs, and private lessons to parents and partners.

Event Participation: Assist with SKATESIDE FEST and other community events to connect with families and generate leads.

Follow-Up & Tracking: Maintain communication with leads, follow up on opportunities, and record activities in our CRM (training provided).

    Qualifications

Previous experience in sales, community outreach, or customer service preferred.

Friendly, confident communicator with strong people skills.

Organized and self-motivated — able to work independently with light supervision.

Comfortable talking to parents, teachers, and community leaders.

Passion for youth programs, sports, or skating is a plus (but not required).

    Compensation

Hourly Pay: Competitive hourly rate for 15–20 hours per week.

Commission: Earn commission for each enrollment or partnership you bring in.

Perks: Flexible schedule, opportunities for growth, and being part of a mission-driven, positive community.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

At THE SKATESIDE, you’re not just selling a program — you’re helping kids discover confidence, build friendships, and develop lifelong skills. Your work directly impacts families and strengthens community connections.
