    Pampered Paws West Grooming is looking for a part-time, dedicated Salon Assistant to join our high-end grooming business. You'll play a key role in ensuring our pets receive the exceptional care and attention they deserve. Our team thrives on collaboration and creating a supportive work environment, and we’re excited to welcome someone who shares our commitment to quality service. As a valued team member, you'll enjoy a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work in a fun and relaxed setting. You will keep the salon clean, organized, and running smoothly. This is not a typical receptionist position, although there will be some front desk work, booking walk-in clients, and answering customer questions. Responsibilities: • Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for pets and their owners. This includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and doing laundry. • Manage appointment schedules efficiently using the salon software. • Provide friendly and informative customer service, addressing pet parents' questions and concerns with care and professionalism. • Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and restocking as needed, ensuring our team has the tools they need to succeed. • Be observant of what is happening in the salon to avoid potential problems, such as pets not showing up or not being picked up on time, etc. Qualifications: • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. • Comfortable with computers and the ability to learn the salon scheduling software program. • Customer-service attitude. • Willingness to pitch in and be part of the team to maintain a clean and smooth-running salon, and ability to get the job done. • Regular communication with the Operations Manager regarding any potential issues. Compensation: $15.15 - $16 per hour
