    Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) Company: Woofie’s of Annapolis Location: Must live in Annapolis, Arnold, Edgewater, Severna Park, Pasadena, Gambrills, or nearby area

    Woofie’s of Annapolis is looking for a Part-Time Scheduler & Administrative Assistant to support our growing pet care business.     What You’ll Do

    As our Part-Time Scheduler & Administrative Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our business, focusing on client service, team scheduling, and internal coordination. Responsibilities include:

    Respond to client phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

    Schedule and reschedule appointments using pet care scheduling software

    Manage calendars and coordinate schedules for groomers and pet sitters

    Maintain organized client records and communication

    Assist with billing, pricing estimates, and service questions

    Post and monitor social media content and respond to comments

    Ensure all services are assigned and completed as scheduled

    Support team members with logistics, updates, and service instructions

    Assist with occasional pet care visits (optional, but preferred)

    Perform other administrative tasks as needed

    Who You Are

    We’re looking for someone who is:

    Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

    A strong communicator—comfortable proactively answering and making phone calls and reviewing and responding to emails and text message

    Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and use scheduling and business platforms (e.g., Outlooks Excel, Word, scheduling and social media tools)

    A natural problem solver who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    Passionate about pets and enjoys working with people

    Requirements

    2 to 4 years of administrative or customer service experience (mobile scheduling experience is strongly preferred)

    2+ years of data entry experience

    Ability to think critically

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

    Reliable and professional with a positive attitude

    Comfortable working remotely with occasional in-person tasks

    Available to work at least one weekend day per week and potential evenings

    Own a smartphone and computer with internet access

    Reliable transportation (occasional local travel may be required)

    Must live in Annapolis, Arnold, Edgewater, Severna Park, Pasadena, Gambrills, or nearby area

    Preferred

    College experience/degree

    Experience with managing schedules for mobile services providers

    Backgorund in pet care services (dog walking, pet sitting, grooming, vet assistant, etc.)

    Demonstrated experience with scheduling software, CRM tools, and office-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

    Willingness to assist with dog walking or pet sitting in urgent cases
