  • Responsibilities

    The Part-Time Maintenance Technician supports the day-to-day maintenance and appearance of the Goshen Valley I & II communities. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position helps maintain the property's curb appeal, assists with routine maintenance tasks, and responds to general upkeep needs to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. Responsibilities: Grounds Maintenance • Empty, clean, and maintain pet waste stations throughout the community. • Pick up litter and debris to ensure the property remains clean and attractive. • Perform seasonal gutter cleaning as assigned. • Power wash sidewalks, common areas, building exteriors, and other surfaces as needed. General Maintenance • Perform basic maintenance repairs, including: • Replacing light fixtures and light bulbs • Repairing or replacing electrical outlets (as qualified and authorized) • Concrete patching and minor surface repairs • Installing, repairing, or replacing community signage • Assist with moving and relocating bulk furniture, appliances, and other large items. Team Support • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with preventive maintenance projects and daily work orders. • Support community improvement projects and seasonal maintenance activities. • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous maintenance, groundskeeping, or facilities experience preferred. • Basic knowledge of hand tools and common maintenance practices. • Ability to safely operate power washing equipment and other maintenance tools. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high property standards. • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. **** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work outdoors for extended periods. • Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity. Compensation: $25 hourly
