Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced dispatch professional to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to monitor radio traffic and respond to calls for service from clients and security personnel and then take appropriate action. In addition, this position will provide assistance to the employee relations manager in our recruiting efforts. This position is seasonal and full-time.

The ideal candidate has experience with radio communication, preferably within the realm of public safety and security operations and performs with a high degree of integrity at all times.

Responsibilities

Monitor all radio traffic to ensure posts are manned and guard personnel are accounted for on a frequent basis

Receive and pass on requests for service from on-site clients

Monitor surveillance cameras

Respond to reports of suspicious activity

Report on daily activities and any security incidents

Communicate with operational leadership to ensure continuous situational awareness

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Security Dispatcher or in a similar position is preferred

Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures

Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability

Ability to operate surveillance equipment

High level of integrity and professionalism

Attention to detail and strong observational skills

Ability to work without direct supervision

Work Hours Friday - Sunday 2 PM to 10 PM
