Northland Automotive is a full service auto repair and tire shop. We are a family owned business that strives for an excellent customer experience every time. We value our employees and know that they are a crucial part in making our customers experience the best that it can be. We are looking for a part time technician to help support and grow our Cedar Springs shop.

Responsibilities:

Perform engine oil and oil filter changes

Inspect and top off automotive fluids

Replace air/cabin filters and windshield wipers

Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor

Maintain the store organization and cleanliness

Provide service inspections on all vehicles

Inspect tires on vehicles before and after installation

Perform tire rotations, balancing and other maintenance tasks

Follow all safety protocols while working in the shop

Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively

Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization

Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns

Requirements:

Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers

Proven work experience as a Tire Technician, Lube Technician or similar role

Some professional experience removing and installing tires preferred

Team player to work with other team members

Attention to detail to install tires properly and provide oil changes

A high school diploma or equivalent

Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes

Professional appearance and strong communication

A desire for long-term career development
