About the Role:

Twin Oaks Group/North State Express is a growing transportation and logistics company seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Transportation Billing Specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and experienced in the trucking and logistics industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Review and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), proof of delivery, and supporting shipping documents

Audit freight paperwork to ensure billing accuracy

Assist with IFTA reporting and maintain fuel tax records

Reconcile driver paperwork and shipment documentation

Work closely with dispatch, drivers, and customers to resolve billing discrepancies

Maintain organized electronic and paper records

Provide general administrative support as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience in transportation, freight, or logistics billing strongly preferred

Proficiency in billing software, transportation management systems (TMS), or similar platforms

Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry and numerical accuracy skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time schedule

Solid communication skills for interacting with customers, carriers, and internal staff

Experience with accounts receivable or invoice reconciliation is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or business preferred
