Summary Bach to Rock is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Voice Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality music education that inspires students of all ages and skill levels. You will lead both individual and group lessons, encourage participation in band programs, and support students in their musical journey.

Responsibilities

Deliver Music Lessons: Teach individual and group voice lessons using our structured curriculum.

Promote Group Participation: Motivate students to join band and group programs, emphasizing the benefits of collaborative music-making.

Evaluate Progress: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor teaching methods to each student’s needs.

Cultivate a Positive Environment: Create an engaging atmosphere that boosts student enthusiasm for learning and performing music.

Prepare for Performances: Coach and support students as they prepare for recitals, concerts, and other public performances.

Collaborate: Work closely with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and dynamic teaching team.

Communicate: Maintain clear and open communication with parents or guardians about student progress and any concerns.

Participate in Events: Engage in school events, workshops, and community outreach activities to promote our programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).

Proven experience teaching music, with a track record of working successfully with students of various ages and abilities.

Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and the ability to read music.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Teaching certifications or additional music-related qualifications are a plus.

A genuine passion for music and a commitment to helping students achieve their musical goals.
