Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient hotel experience. This part-time, weekend position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
Process reservations, room assignments, room changes, and billing transactions
Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions
Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues when appropriate
Maintain accurate guest accounts and handle cash, credit card, and electronic payments
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest satisfaction
Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience required; hotel or front desk experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
Basic computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems a plus
Reliable availability on weekends and holidays
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Must be able to work flexible weekend shifts, including mornings, evenings, and holidays
