    Job Summary

    We are seeking a talented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with management and the accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all legal and reporting requirements.

    Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, preparing trial balances, assisting with payroll, and managing tax-related documentation.

    The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of accounting best practices—someone who enjoys being part of a dependable, supportive team.

    Responsibilities

    Enter and categorize daily financial data and transactions

    Verify the accuracy of entered transactions and resolve discrepancies

    Prepare trial balances and maintain up-to-date ledgers

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

    Reconcile bank and credit card statements

    Assist with payroll and employee pay records

    Analyze budgets, expenditures, and financial information

    Complete or assist with required tax forms and filings

    Collaborate with management to support financial planning and decisions

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

    Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role

    Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

    Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required

    Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Experience in the construction, restoration, or service industry a plus

    Schedule & Flexibility

    Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week
