About the Role:

Quinsigamond Dental Inc is looking for a motivated and caring Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team in Shrewsbury, MA! This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a dedicated dental team in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients

Take and develop dental X-rays as directed

Greet patients, review medical histories, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits

Document patient records and treatment information accurately

Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed

Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices

Requirements:

Prior dental assisting experience preferred; entry-level candidates welcome

Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols

Dental radiography certification or willingness to obtain

Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first attitude

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
