Part-time Kennel Tech Position Available in Lisle for Avian and Exotic Pet Practice. Experience working in a Clinic setting preferred but not necessary. Candidates must be detail-minded and able to multi-task, have organizational and problem-solving skills, patience,attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidates will have general duties including learning to handle a wide variety of different species in order to safely work with boarding patients and be able to complete general tasks such as cleaning cages, obtaining patient weights and administering oral medications. Position includes tasks such handling laundry, cleaning floors, and performing other cleaning tasks around the clinic as needed. Weekend and Holidays shifts required on a rotating basis.
