Part-Time Opening Support Teacher

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Part-Time Opening Support Teacher to help prepare our school for the start of each day. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, organized, and safe environment for children, families, and staff during morning arrival hours.

Schedule

Part-time

Early morning shift beginning at 6:15AM

Responsibilities

Open and prepare classrooms and common areas for the school day

Ensure classrooms are clean, organized, and ready for children and teachers

Welcome and supervise children as they arrive beginning at 6:30 AM

Provide support in assigned classrooms based on daily staffing needs

Follow direction from leadership team members regarding classroom placement and daily responsibilities

Assist with maintaining a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children

Communicate professionally with staff, children, and families during morning arrival

Qualifications

Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently arrive early each morning

Experience working with young children preferred

Positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in supporting different classrooms

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to multitask and work independently

Must meet all state licensing requirements for childcare staff
