About the Role:

The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers in Windsor Mill, MD is looking for a warm, energetic, and passionate Part-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years. Shifts Available:

Monday-Friday 7am -1pm

Monday-Friday 2-6pm

Mon- Wed- Fri 9-6pm

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool-aged children

Support a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment

Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and transitions

Help implement early childhood curriculum aligned with developmental milestones

Communicate positively and professionally with parents and guardians

Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and preparation of learning materials

Observe and report on children's behavior, progress, and needs to the lead teacher

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred

Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children

Genuine passion for child development and early learning

Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare compliance requirements

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
