Part-Time Support Staff Opportunity – Make a Difference in Garnet Valley, PA

We’re looking for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Staff to join our team and work with a wonderful young man in Garnet Valley. This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful connections while supporting someone in living a full and engaging life.

· Flexible part-time hours: late afternoons, evenings, and weekends (Thursday 3–7/8 pm and Sunday 9 am–2 pm are preferred, but Sundays can be flexible week to week).

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Providing assistance with daily routines such as meals, dressing, showering, and other personal care.

· Engaging in fun community activities, volunteer projects, and outings (always with another staff member when in the community).

· Creating consistency and structure in his day while keeping him safe and supported.

· Encouraging independence while following a Positive Behavior Plan.

· Writing clear and accurate daily notes about activities and support provided

· Who We’re Looking For:

· A calm, patient, and dependable person who enjoys helping others grow.

· Someone who is kind, creative, and a positive problem solver.

· A professional who is attentive and engaged (no phones while working).

· Experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs is highly valued.

· Experience with seizures or behavior support plans is a plus.

Requirements:

· RBT, CNA, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Gerontology, etc.).

· Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

· Able to pass a PA background check and drug screening.
