Position Summary

Farm & Home Hardware is seeking a friendly, reliable Part-Time Cashier to provide excellent customer service and ensure fast, accurate checkout experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment, and supports overall store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Greet every customer with a positive, helpful attitude

Accurately ring up purchases using the POS system

Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods responsibly

Answer basic product and store questions or direct customers to the right department

Maintain a clean and organized front-end area

Assist with bagging, returns, and exchanges

Help with light stocking and front-end merchandising as needed

Support team members during busy periods

Qualifications

Strong customer service mindset

Basic math and cash-handling skills

Dependable and punctual

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment

Comfortable standing for extended periods

Retail or cashier experience preferred but not required

Work Schedule
