We are seeking a dedicated and caring part-time floater to join our team. The hours are Monday through Friday, EVERY DAY, from 12:00 to 6:00 or 1:00 to 6::00. ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN WORK EVERY DAY FOR THOSE HOURS. The Part-time Floater will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our daycare program, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of all ages. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about children and are seeking part time employment in the afternoon hours of 1:00 to 6:00pm.
Duties
- Assist in the classroom and daycare setting with lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and classroom management.
- Provide high-quality childcare services, including supervising and engaging with children in various activities.
- Support the development of children through various techniques and support the lessons provided by the lead teachers
- Collaborate with teachers and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and education.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to maintain open and transparent communication.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in childcare and education.
Requirements
- Experience working in a daycare setting.
- Proven skills in classroom management and behavior management,
- Strong understanding of age appropraiet behavior
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, helpful bit not required at this time.
- Ability to work part-time hours on a daily basis
