ABOUT THIS ROLE: The Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP) Facilitator provides group and individual services to clients who identify as having caused harm to a partner in an intimate relationship. This role is responsible for delivering trauma-informed, accountability-focused interventions that promote behavioral change and increase safety for survivors.
All services must be delivered and documented in accordance with agency policies, Part 501 (Partner Abuse Intervention) of the Illinois Administrative Code, and the Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Confidentiality Act.
Schedule: Part-Time (25 Hours per week) Days & Evenings required Monday: 9 AM - 1 PM Tuesday: 2:30 PM - 8:30 PM Wednesday: 9 AM - 2 PM Thursday: 3 PM - 9 PM Friday: Off Saturday: 9 AM - 1 PM Sunday: Off
Key Responsibilities Program Services
Co-facilitate weekly PAIP group sessions, including preparation, delivery, and follow-up
Complete timely, accurate group and individual documentation in accordance with program and legal requirements
Conduct phone screenings (intakes) and comprehensive individual assessments for referred clients
Manage client enrollment and maintain all required documentation
Case Management & Client Support
Provide case management and aftercare services to current and former clients
Offer referrals and resource navigation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local social services and community resources
Deliver services in a consistent, respectful, and accountability-centered manner
Collaboration & Communication
Maintain regular communication with referral sources and program partners, including:
Monthly progress reports
Enrollment and discharge documentation
Coordination of case management meetings as needed
Collaborate with the PAIP Program Supervisor on curriculum evaluation and program development
Administrative & Program Support
Assist with administrative functions to support program operations
Support outreach efforts to strengthen relationships with referral sources and increase program awareness and utilization
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
Complete additional duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor or Executive Director
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field
2+ years experience working with families in crisis, domestic violence experience preferred
Completion of a 40-hour Partner Abuse Intervention training (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
Must have reliable transportation. Some travel required as groups are held offsite.
Experience facilitating groups and/or working with individuals who have caused harm in intimate partner relationships preferred
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, accountability models, and domestic violence dynamics
Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and ethical standards
