What You Will Be Doing
Candidate will work as a member of WilmerHale's internal Partner Compensation and Tax (PC&T) team to support all department operations. Candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, ensuring the timely filing of all tax returns including tracking all return due dates, coordinating with external preparers, obtaining signatures, distributing/mailing all returns, and assisting PC&T team members as needed. Candidate will support the department in its day-to-day customer service to the partners and former partners by prioritizing email communications from them, identifying the appropriate team member to respond if candidate is unable to provide response, and monitoring responses to ensure all requests have been handled. Candidate will be instrumental in managing all departmental project timelines and ensuring retention of documentation. Candidate will work to improve efficiency by automating processes and utilizing available enhanced technology resources.
