Job Overview:
Our client is a global company with revenues exceeding $1B. They are currently seeking a Technical PM with packaging background. This position based in Atlanta, GA and will report to the Product Development Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
· Supporting manufacturing with on-site support of trials and be external resource for materials-related root cause investigation.
· Leading customer technical calls/visits and manufacturing/customer trials to enrich communication and expedite commercialization.
· Design commercial specifications to be fit-for-use and fit-for-make.
· Lead Divisional initiatives on new converting and raw material technology.
· Coordinate directly with customers, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and operations planning for a rapid, successful commercialization of new converted products.
· Identify opportunities for innovative growth.

Basic Qualifications:
· BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Packaging Science
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry
· Experience gathering and analyzing data
· Must be willing and able to travel up to 35%

Preferred Qualifications:
· Product Development and/or Process Engineering experience preferred
· BOPP/PET/PE films, adhesives, extrusion, inks experience is a plus.
· Prior experience having direct contact with customers is a plus.
