    The Role 

    As the Engagement Coordinator for our revenue team, you will play a pivotal role in the daily fundraising operations of the organization. You will coordinate PW’s gift processing, communicating with donors and updating the donor database to ensure that gifts are entered, receipt letters are distributed, and timely reports and materials are provided to team members. 

    The Work 

    • Update donor and grants database with new account information as well as make modifications to current accounts, create reports, resolve, and update failed donations. 
    • Support the Finance department in processing all donations, financial report reconciliation, and other duties. 
    • Assist donors with inquiries on donating to Partners Worldwide via check, credit card, direct bank withdrawal, stock donation, etc. 
    • Ensure all Engagement and Grants team representatives are made aware of new gifts through leveraging capabilities of the donor database. 
    • Ensure receipt letters and response to inquiries from donors are acknowledged within the established timeframe. 
    • Work closely with various teams (Engagement, Finance, Grants, IT, MarCom) to find solutions to donor needs and donor database reporting needs. 
    • Provide training to new Engagement Team members on how to use the donor database. 
    • Participate in the development, planning and implementation of all fundraising campaigns whether direct mail, email, or online. 
    • Assist in organizing and tracking direct marketing appeals, solicit method codes, and mailing lists. 
    • Assist the process of proper follow up activities on all major donor and grant relationship connections (visits, phone calls, events, etc.) 
    • Facilitate recurring gift program and peer to peer fundraising projects 
    • Prepare accurate research on donor and grant prospects and assemble materials for cultivation and solicitation visits. 
    • Provide weekly/monthly status reports on campaigns, analysis reporting, and customized queries as requested. 
    • Provide administrative support to the Engagement and Grants Teams by arranging regular team meetings and following up on scheduled tasks. 
    • Organize & coordinate document storage and supply Engagement and Grants teams with information and materials, both digital and print, needed to execute their responsibilities effectively.

     

    Your Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree 
    • At least two years of experience in an office environment 
    • Mature Christian faith that is lived out in your life, work, and interactions. 
    • Excellent communication skills and judgement with the ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality. 
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; experience with donor databases and design software a plus 
    • Not required but helpful:  
    • Familiarity with non-profits, research methods, data standards, and databases 
    • Interest in fundraising
