  • Responsibilities

    As a Parts Coordinator at New England Air Systems, you will play a critical role in keeping our service operations responsive, efficient, and customer-focused. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate quotes for commercial HVAC and refrigeration repairs or replacements, as well as managing the purchasing of materials, parts, and inventory for our service team.

    Your day-to-day will include coordinating closely with dispatchers and technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts, researching product options, following up on open quotes, and handling returns and vendor communications.

    This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys both technical problem-solving and logistical coordination, and brings a strong understanding of HVAC systems and service workflows.     In this role, you will be responsible for

    • Providing accurate estimates for commercial HVAC and refrigeration repair or replacement in a timely manner
    • Ordering and track parts and materials needed for service calls and repairs
    • Entering purchase orders in computer system – for parts and inventory purchases
    • Communicating with vendors and suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery times
    • Maintaining accurate records of parts orders, returns, backorders, and credits
    • Performing basic administrative tasks related to purchasing and service operations
    • Following up on outstanding quotes - weekly
    • Maintaining regular communication with dispatch and technicians regarding parts order status
    • Backing up service dispatch (as needed) when a team member is out of the office
    • Ordering and management preventive maintenance materials, including filters, belts, acid neutralizer media, gaskets, or any other required maintenance materials.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    Benefits

    The base hourly range for this role is $22 to $32 per hour. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
