    About the Parts Coordinator Position:

    The Parts Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring our maintenance and repair operations run smoothly by managing the inventory and supply of parts for our trailer fleet. Your primary duties will include performing inventory checks, sourcing parts, and assisting with service team with parts selections. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively with others, and a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in parts inventory, an understanding of trailer systems, and strong communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Perform regular inventory checks, to ensure inventory accuracy

    • Maintain a clean and organized parts room

    • Source quotes, order parts, and support the service department in acquiring the necessary components

    • Enter parts received and orders filled into our electronic system

    • Create and update parts inventory transfers as requested by other branches

    • Create electronic purchase orders and accurately process invoices for payout

    • Unload incoming inventory, pick-up and deliver parts and/or tools as required

    • Collaborate with the service team to forecast parts needs and provide updates on inventory availability

    • Assist mechanics with parts selections

    • Ensure safety standards

    • Keep updated on industry standards

    • Ensure a safe work environment

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Must be highly organized
    • High level of collaboration and teamwork
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Experience in the trailer/transportation industry preferred
