Full-Time Parts Runner at TownToyota in Weantchee, Wa

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Parts Runner to join our Town Toyota team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a keen eye for detail. The Parts Runner will assist in maintaining freight inventory and deliver parts throughout the Wenatchee Valley while adhering to safety guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport and deliver parts to technicians, customers, and vendors
• Pick up and/or deliver parts to designated accounts when instructed by the Part Manager
• Ensure that areas of the parts department are properly stocked
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely receipt and delivery of materials through database computer systems
• Receive and store incoming parts; ensuring materials are organized and easily accessible
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring safety standards are met
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained and orders for replacement parts and materials are placed in a timely manner
• Assist in the periodic maintenance of company vehicles as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License or equivalent. All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
• Clean driving record to meet insurability standards
• Ability to operate a standard truck
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team player
• Familiarity with automotive or manufacturing parts, materials and tools is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

Work Environment:

As part of the essential duties, the Parts Runner position requires operating motor vehicles, along with certification and operation of a forklift and/or a scissor lift. The employee’s essential duties are such that impairment caused by drug or alcohol could result in significant injury or death.
