BASIC FUNCTIONS:
• Order, receive, and stock inventory while maintaining accurate records of parts, accessories,
and supplies.
• Assist technicians in identifying necessary parts using computer catalogs, offering technical
advice, and providing price quotes.
• Issue parts and tools to technicians.
• Process special orders for out-of-stock items while maintaining purchase orders to vendors.
• Maintain accurate logs of part usage, vendor invoices, and maintenance records to assess
repair patterns.
• Track part shipments, manage returns and core charges, and ensure timely delivery of parts.
• Inspect incoming shipments for defects, verify paperwork for accuracy, and manage returns for
damaged or incorrect parts under warranty.
• Promote high standards of safety while keeping the parts department clean,
organized, and compliant with department safety procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency) required.
• Strong understanding of automotive parts, systems, and vehicle repair.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in vehicle parts, inventory control, maintenance and
repair and/or warehousing.
• Proficiency in computer software, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory
management software, and MS Office.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to use time wisely to ensure proficient and effective operations.
• Ability to lift, pack, and move parts up to 50–70 lbs.
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug test
