The Parts Advisor position is pivotal within our automotive service department, serving as a central point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories. This role involves providing expert guidance and support to customers, ensuring they find the right parts for their needs. The Parts Advisor plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and contributing to the efficient operation of our parts department. Responsibilities: • Assist Parts Manager with daily activities and Inventory • Maintain excellent customer service with each interaction • Order parts from vendors and create Purchase Orders internally • Interact with customers about orders on the phone and via email • Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department • Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts • Maintains professional appearance • Other tasks as assigned Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution • Strong understanding of automotive parts • High level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude • Valid driver's license is required • Ability to focus on producing quality work • Ability to communicate in person and on the phone • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Compensation: $18 - $22 DOE
