Position Overview

Walser Mobile Refrigeration LLC is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to manage inventory, parts procurement, and logistics for our growing service operation. This role is critical to keeping our technicians equipped and our jobs running efficiently.

As a mobile road service company, this position will also support field operations by coordinating and delivering parts to job sites when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts, tools, and supplies

Source, order, and track parts for transport refrigeration units, diesel trucks, trailers, and A/C systems

Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming parts and materials

Maintain a clean, organized parts room and storage system

Track parts usage and update inventory systems accordingly

Coordinate parts availability with technicians to minimize downtime

Prepare parts for scheduled jobs and service calls

Deliver parts to job sites as needed to support mobile technicians

Process returns, warranties, and core exchanges

Assist with cost tracking and job-related parts documentation

Qualifications

Experience in parts management, inventory control, or warehouse operations

Background in automotive, diesel, or heavy-duty equipment (preferred)

Familiarity with transport refrigeration parts (Carrier, Thermo King) is a plus

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills (inventory systems, ordering platforms, Excel, etc.)

Valid Driver’s License (clean driving record preferred)

Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

Knowledge of diesel engines, trailer systems, or refrigeration components

Experience with vendor platforms (Thermo King, Carrier, FleetPride, etc.)

Experience with inventory or shop management software

Forklift experience
