About the Role:

Thermo King of Knoxville is looking for a knowledgeable and driven Parts Specialist to join our team in Knoxville, TN! In this role, you will assist customers with identifying and purchasing correct parts, manage inventory, and support daily parts operations. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, detail-oriented and accurate data entry. Ideal candidates have 2 years in parts or customer service and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist with parts inquiries in person, over the phone, and electronically.

Process parts orders, invoices, and returns accurately using parts management software.

Maintain and organize parts inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and accurate counts.

Coordinate with service technicians to fulfill internal parts requests in a timely manner.

Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments.

Assist with shipping and receiving operations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers by providing knowledgeable and timely service.

Stay current on product updates, new parts releases, and industry knowledge.

Accept payments, process credit account transactions.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

2 years prior experience in parts counter or customer service.

Forklift certification or experience is a plus.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to lift and handle parts and equipment up to 50 lbs.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Team player with a self-motivated, problem-solving attitude.
