    This is an in-person role supporting families at monthly diaper distribution events through December 2026.

    Position Overview As our Community Outreach Assistant, you will play a critical role in executing our community outreach efforts and our Mobile Distribution program. You’ll with planning and execute community events, and ensure that all outreach activities are staffed and operated efficiently.     Key Responsibilities

    Mobile Distributions: Plan, organize, and ensure successful execution of all Mobile Distribution events, assisting participant,ensuring every detail is handled. Setup/take down.

    Community Outreach: Execute strategic outreach initiatives that raise awareness of the Central Florida Diaper Bank’s mission and services. Lead efforts to recruit program participants and engage the community.

    Event Coordination: Take ownership of all community events, from planning to execution. Ensure everything is organized, efficient, and up to the highest standards.

    Administrative Excellence: Maintain impeccable schedules, records, and correspondence. Track data, report on outcomes, and manage logistics for programs and events.

    Resource Management: Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently during outreach events, and maintain high standards of organization and execution.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Associate's degree required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

    3+ years of experience in community outreach, volunteer management, or event coordination

    Proven success in managing mobile distributions or large-scale community programs

    Highly organized with a sharp attention to detail

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Social media management experience

    Experience with CRM systems

    Bilingual (Spanish preferred)

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to work independently and take initiative in fast-paced environments

    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    Schedule:

    First week of each month (Monday–Thursday), 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

    Second Tuesday of each month, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

    Occasional Saturdays as needed (Must be available during these times)

    Pay

    $20.00 per hour
