    Pasadena-based law firm seeks a Part-time Bookkeeper (24-32 hours a week) to join a small law firm.

    Qualifications:

    A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred but not required.

    MUST be proficient in MS Office (Word & Excel & Outlook) and QuickBooks.

    At least 2 years of accounts payable or accounting office experience.

    Must be a highly organized individual who pays strong attention to detail.

    Experience using legal software like MyCase and online legal billing programs, including (preferred) TyMetrix360 and LegalExchange, is a HUGE plus.

    Professional attitude and demeanor.

    Responsibilities:

    Generates monthly client invoices using MyCase legal software.

    Submit quarterly electronic invoices using online billing programs.

    Manage all activities in the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

    Prepare weekly deposits.

    Manage bank and credit card reconciliations and monthly cash flow reports in Excel and QuickBooks.

    Assist Office Manager with taking semimonthly payroll and managing payroll reports.

    401 (k) and loan submissions.

    Create and maintain various spreadsheets in Excel.

    Correspondence with clients as needed.

    Assist Office Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
