WEB DEVELOPER

OBJECTIVE

We are looking for an enthusiastic developer to join our team and help us build amazing solutions that further the mission and vision of Passion. A positive, team-oriented, kingdom minded individual who models initiative, service, and accuracy as they play a pivotal role on the team.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving web based applications for Passion, Inc. (Passion City Church, sixstepsrecords, Passion Publishing, and Passion Conferences)  
• Be involved in all aspects of engineering — playing a role with planning, design, development and deployment  
• Use technical knowledge and creative thinking to provide innovative solutions using industry standard tools
• Be self-motivated to meet aggressive deadlines in a rapid development environment
• Work with the wider team to develop engaging front end experiences using tools including Webflow and Wordpress
• Consider anything but act only on the best solution for the entire team

WORK SCHEDULE  

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm   

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  

None  

REPORTS TO  

Technology Director 

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL   

• Degree in Engineering or 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong communicator with ability to discuss technical issues with non technical team members  
• Willingness to learn new applications / environments and desire to adopt our processes (scrum / pair programming / Jira)
• Self-starter and ability to self-manage in a smaller cooperative team  
• Willing to “do what it takes” by assisting where needed  
• Knowledge of a range of front and backend development languages, e.g SASS / Vue / C# / PHP
• Demonstrated ability with front end no-code design tools including Webflow
• Demonstrated ability with Wordpress or conceptually similar CMS's
• Experience with T-SQL and MySQL
